What is the Whole30?
The Whole30 is a 30 day reset that aims to repair your relationship with food, as well as improve the damage caused by silent inflammation.
By the end of the 30 days, you have a baseline for how energetic, rested, and in-control you can feel; and then the real fun begins!
Typical physical results include:
-Improved sleep quality
-Less bloating, leaner appearance
-Improved medical symptoms, reduced medications
-Fewer migraines, asthma attacks, allergies
Typical psychological results include:
-Happier, more patient, handling stress better
-Fewer sugar cravings
-Improved body image
-Practiced in intuitive eating, cooking healthy food, and eliminated food guilt
Does this sound too good to be true? I sure thought so.
My name is Laura.
I used to eat like a trash panda.
Well, ok. "Trash Panda" refers to a raccoon, but I see some similarities between the way I used to eat and rummaging around a garbage can.
I thought eating healthy meant eating whole grains, I drank what I wanted, and my kitchen skills tapped out at making pizza rolls in the oven.
I wasn't sleeping, I was gaining weight and stress, and I was over-freaking-whelmed.
Then I found Whole30.
