Hi! Thanks for taking a minute to learn about me.
The first thing I make clear with my clients is that nutrition and fitness didn't come easily to me.
In fact, I actually went to Illinois State University for English Education, and I taught High School and Middle School English and ELA for five years.
For the few years of my teaching career, I handled the stress of my job in the worst ways--I simply wasn't taking care of myself.
When a co-worker introduced me to the Whole30 in November of 2014, I thought she was CRAZY. Then I watched her dramatically improve her life,
her mental well-being, and her ability to show up for her students. I wanted in.
I didn't expect what happened next. Not only did I move across the country to Oceanside, California, but I started prioritizing myself in totally unexpected ways.
Whole30 and fitness became what got me up in the morning; not only what I was passionate about, but what I wanted to share with the world.
Since becoming a Whole30 Certified Coach and NASM Certified Personal Trainer, I've had the pleasure of working with hundreds of people to transform their lives and relationships with food, fitness, and each other.
Here's what makes my coaching style different:
I'm not a big believer in just giving you resources and telling you to figure it out, or dropping you into an accountability group.
In fact, you'll find my approach is much more about hands-on learning experiences that can actually be applied to your life.
I use my teaching background to help you develop your understanding of the material, help you learn how to use it in your daily life, and help you create new life long habits.
I know the process of cleaning up your nutrition while you're already living a busy, full life can be difficult which is why I offer 1:1 and group courses both in-person and online.
My goal is that you feel so confident in your Whole30 and Food Freedom that you are empowered to make educated decisions about your health.
My ultimate goal is that eventually you won't need me at all!
